About MissionXpress
MissionXpress is a division of Home and Away Ministries experienced and knowledgeable in working with Mexican Churches. We have had a full time base in the Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico area since 2003. Every foreign mission location has some unforeseen dangers. Because of the violence in Mexico many missions’ organizations, including ours, have suspended operations until the country is safe once again. But a great opportunity has opened up just across the border in southeast Texas. We have been invited to serve in this area through our Mexican friends and we believe this is God’s direction to minister here long after Mexico opens up once again. The December 2010 U.S. Census Bureau Statistics list these counties as some of the poorest in the United States.
