Mission Adventures
In southeastern Texas nearly 400 Mexican churches are awaiting our help to reach the Rio Grande Valley for Jesus Christ. MissionXpress offers a variety of safe, affordable, short term foreign mission experiences. We are a long term mission organization which uses short term mission teams to fulfill the Great Commission. In addition, nearly 400,000 Hispanics live in colonias along the border in Texas. Hidalgo County has the largest population of people living in colonias in Texas. These are small communities, lots purchased contract for deed for affordable housing, which may or may not have running water or sewers. 85% of those under 18 in these communities were born in the U.S. It is estimated that there are 2,295 Colonias in Texas alone.
